Harrisons High Potency Coarse 

Harrisons High Potency Coarse’s size of piece is usually preferred by larger parrots that is recommended if: you are converting from a seed based diet, have a young bird,  bird is moulting or has poor feather quality, if bringing your bird into breeding condition and throughout the breeding season, if your bird is recovering from illness, own an African Grey/ large Macaw or Palm or Moluccan Cockatoo as these birds do better on this diet and if your vet advises the use of this formula for medical reasons.

Birds should initially be fed High Potency Formula for a period of at least 6 months to brids that are molting, overweight, underweight, particularly active housed in a cold climate recovering from an illness or affected by liver or kidney disease and that are weaning.

Birds should be fed High Potency Formula 1-2 months prior to the breeding period and until chicks are weaned or for at least six months before resuming Adult Lifetime Formula, should be supplemental certified organic vegetables and fruits until the chicks are weaned and for each 2 Tbs (20 g) formula add ½ Tbs (5 g) high quality (certified organic would be best) peanuts or almonds and 1Tbs (10 g) high quality (certified organic would be best) sunflower seeds.
